Spiritual Life
Crescent City Christian School is committed to providing a solid foundation for building strong, Christ-centered leaders. Students CCCS will graduate with valuable experience in serving the community and practicing Biblical leadership. From our youngest to our graduating seniors, encouraging the faith of students is a priority at CCCS. We are also committed to CCCS Parents and providing resources to encourage families in today’s culture.
High & Middle School Chapel- All secondary students meet weekly for a chapel service which includes a relevant message from the Bible and passionate worship led by students and faculty members.
Elementary Chapel- All elementary students meet weekly on Wednesday morning for their own chapel service. Celebration children’s ministers and our own faculty lead this fun, encouraging service. Students also participate in worship.
Biblical Integration- We believe all truth is God’s truth because the Lord is the Creator of all things. Because of that, CCCS teachers seek to teach all subjects in light of the truths found in the Scriptures. Every class is integrated with the Bible to offer a holistic viewpoint on any given subject.
Bible Classes– Secondary students meet daily to study the Bible led by their homeroom teacher. We utilize multiple media in order to expose our students to some of the best Bible teachers the Lord has raised up in our generation. All secondary students and teachers memorize a portion of the Word each week.
Service Hours Program- Because we want our students to join the Lord in his work throughout the Greater New Orleans area, each secondary student is required to complete service hours before the end of the year. What better way to learn about service and mission than to do it out within the world?
The 6th-7th grade must serve 25 hours and 8th-12th grade must serve 35 hours
Retreats- All secondary students participate in a retreat at some point throughout the year.
